This Shipping Policy governs the shipment and delivery of all books and literary products purchased through everleafbooks.com. By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined herein.

Order Processing

All orders are processed within two (2) to four (4) business days from the date of purchase. Business days are defined as Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays.

Processing Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Pacific Time (PT)

Order Cut-Off Time: 4:00 PM Pacific Time (PT)

Orders placed before the cut-off time on business days are queued for same-day processing. Orders submitted after this time, or placed on weekends and federal holidays, will begin processing on the following business day.

Upon confirmation, you will receive an email at the address provided during checkout acknowledging receipt of your order.

Shipping Method and Delivery Timeframe

We have partnered with FedEx to handle all domestic shipments, ensuring your books are handled with care and delivered reliably.

Transit Time: 6 to 8 business days from the date of dispatch

Total Estimated Delivery: 8 to 12 business days from the date of purchase

All delivery timeframes are estimates and are not guaranteed. Actual delivery dates may vary depending on carrier operations, destination location, and other factors outside our control.

Shipping Rates

Free Shipping: All orders totaling $199.00 or more qualify for complimentary standard shipping.

Flat Rate Shipping: Orders under $199.00 are subject to a flat shipping fee of $7.99.

Shipping fees are calculated automatically at checkout based on your order subtotal before tax. The cost displayed at checkout is final.

No Hidden Fees: We do not charge any hidden handling fees, processing fees, or additional surcharges. The price you see is the price you pay.

Sales Tax

Applicable sales tax is calculated and applied automatically at checkout in accordance with state and local regulations based on your shipping destination. The tax amount displayed reflects your total tax obligation for the transaction.

Service Area

Eligible Destinations: We ship exclusively to physical street addresses within the contiguous 48 United States. International shipping is not available at this time.

Excluded Locations:

  • Alaska and Hawaii
  • U.S. Territories (Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa, Northern Mariana Islands)
  • Post Office Boxes (P.O. Boxes)
  • APO/FPO/DPO military addresses

Please provide a valid residential or commercial street address when placing your order.

Orders to Ineligible Addresses: If an order is placed with a shipping address in an excluded area, the order will be cancelled and a full refund will be issued within 5 to 7 business days.

Third-Party Fulfillment

Everleafbooks partners with trusted third-party book distribution centers located throughout the United States. This fulfillment model allows us to process orders efficiently and deliver your books in a timely manner while maintaining competitive pricing.

Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipment confirmation email containing your unique tracking number.

Tracking Activation: Please allow up to 24 hours after dispatch for tracking information to become active.

Track Your Order:

Address Accuracy and Changes

You are solely responsible for ensuring that the shipping address provided at checkout is accurate and complete, including street address, apartment or unit number (if applicable), city, state, and ZIP code.

Address Change Requests: If you discover an error after placing an order, contact us immediately at contact@everleafbooks.com. Address changes can only be accommodated within 12 hours of order placement, before the order is transferred to our fulfillment center.

Undeliverable Packages: If a package is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer:

  • The cost of the books will be refunded to your original payment method
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable

Delivery Issues

Damaged Books:

If your books arrive damaged, contact our Customer Support team within 72 hours of delivery. Please provide:

  • Your order number
  • Photographs showing damage to the books and packaging
  • Brief description of the issue

Upon verification, we will send a replacement at no additional cost or issue a full refund, based on your preference.

Lost Packages:

If tracking shows “Delivered” but you have not received your package, please:

  • Verify the shipping address on your confirmation email
  • Check with household members or neighbors
  • Inspect alternate delivery locations (porches, garages, building mailrooms)

If the package remains unlocated after these steps, contact us and we will initiate an investigation with FedEx.

Resolution Timeframe: We are committed to resolving all shipping-related issues within 5 to 7 business days from the date reported.

Delays Beyond Our Control

We are not liable for shipping delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:

  • Severe weather conditions or natural disasters
  • Carrier service disruptions or labor disputes
  • Public health emergencies
  • Government-imposed restrictions

In the event of significant delays, we will make reasonable efforts to notify affected customers and provide updated delivery estimates when available.
