Q: Are you a real bookstore?
Where are you located?A: Yes, we are! We are a small, independent online bookseller (Maash LLC) based in San Jose, California. We don’t have a physical retail storefront for you to browse, but we operate a real, in-stock business.
Q: Is this a “dropshipping” website?
A: No, we are not a dropshipper. We personally curate our collection of Cookbooks, Mysteries, and Romance novels. Every book listed on our site is physically in stock at our San Jose facility, packed and shipped by our own team.
Ordering & Payment
Q: Is my payment information secure?
A: Absolutely. Our entire site is SSL-encrypted (look for the lock icon!). We use Stripe and PayPal to process payments, which means we never see or store your full credit card number.
Q: Will I be charged sales tax?A:
Yes. As a legally registered US business, we are required by law to collect sales tax. Our system will automatically calculate the correct rate based on your shipping address at checkout, as required by state and local law.
Q: Can I cancel or change my order?
A: Possibly! We process orders quickly. If you need to make a change, please email us at contact@everleafbooks.com within 12 hours of placing your order. If it’s already been processed by our team, we won’t be able to cancel it, but you can return it once it arrives.
Shipping & Delivery
Q: When will my order arrive?
A: Our total delivery time has two parts:

Processing: It takes our team in San Jose 2-4 business days (Mon-Fri) to pick, pack, and prepare your order.

Shipping: We ship via USPS, which typically takes 5-7 business days (Mon-Fri) for delivery. You can expect your book to arrive within 7-11 business days total.
Q: Where do you ship from?
A: All orders ship directly from our facility in San Jose, California.
Q: Do you ship to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses?
A: Yes, we do! Because we use USPS as our primary carrier, we are happy to deliver to P.O. Boxes and military addresses.
Q: How much is shipping?
A: We keep it simple: $7.99 for all orders under $199. If your order is over $199, shipping is FREE.
Q: How do I track my order?
A: As soon as your order leaves our facility, we will send you a shipping confirmation email that includes your USPS tracking number.
Returns & Refunds
Q: What is your return policy?
A: We offer a 30-day return window from the date your order is delivered.
Q: How do I start a return?
A: It’s simple. Just send an email to contact@everleafbooks.com with your order number and let us know you’d like to make a return. We’ll reply with the next steps.
Q: Where do I send my return?

Q: Do you charge any return or restocking fees?
A: No. We do not charge any restocking fees. If you are returning a book because you changed your mind, you are only responsible for the return shipping cost.
